Happi-Games: Magical Kitties
Dates: July 20-24
Time: 9am - 3pm
Ages: 8-12
Cost: $425
We’re teaming up with Happimess for a week of creativity and adventure. Each morning at Arrow Wood Games, campers will learn how to play Magical Kitties and embark on imaginative campaigns filled with clever puzzles, collaborative problem-solving, and creative decision-making. Campers will travel to Happimess by the Happibus, where they’ll spend the afternoon diving into creative art projects - painting, sensory materials, and hands-on projects inspired by character design, the beauty surrounding us, and storytelling.
Magical Kitties Save the Day is a family-friendly role-playing game where players take on the role of magical kitties with secret powers who protect their humans and hometowns from quirky threats like magical portals letting dinosaurs into your town. Players create cute, cunning, or fierce kitties with unique abilities, solving problems for their humans, with a focus on collaborative storytelling and easy setup.
What is a role playing game? In a role-playing game, players sit around a table and take on the role of a character in a fictional setting. We then collaboratively tell the story, usually guided by a set of rules and a Game Master. You don’t have to be an actor - if you like stories, you can play a role-playing game!
No experience needed. Staff will help with character creation, and dice are provided.

Whether they’re new to the craft or have painted miniatures before, this event will guide them through the basics of painting, from base coating to adding fine details, all while allowing them to personalize their own miniatures.

Level Up Leadership Camp
Dates: July 6-10 (D&D), July 13-17 (general)
Time: 9am - 3pm
Ages: 13-16
Cost: $425
Leadership gets a lot more interesting with real kids, real challenges, and a few moments where you'll have no idea what to do next. That's kind of the point.
At Level Up Leadership Camp, you'll build practical leadership skills with a group of younger campers - understanding your own style, communicating across differences, navigating group dynamics, and handling conflict with confidence.
July 6-10: D&D
In this camp, participants will be supporting younger campers who are attending our D&D Adventure Guild camp. You’ll be helping plan and facilitate a variety of D&D-themed activities such as drawing adventure maps, developing characters, designing new monsters, and playing Swords & Sorcery at the park.
We will also spend some time each day working on developing Dungeon Master skills (appropriate for both brand new and experienced DMs). Some experience playing D&D is required; campers who have been playing for at least a few months will get the most out of it. No experience as a Dungeon Master is required.
July 13-17: General
Participants will be supporting campers aged 6-11 attending our Pokemon Adventure Camp. They’ll help plan and facilitate a variety of Pokemon-themed activities. And don't worry if they're not a Pokemon fan themself! They don't need to be, and won't be spending that much time on Pokemon-specific content. What matters is that they're interested in developing their leadership skills and working with kids. We will also be doing Swords & Sorcery as part of this week.
