About Us
Who We Are
Arrow Wood Games began as a dream of a trio of nerdy folk who believe in the magic of tabletop games. Driven by our love of games and the joy they bring, our goal is to help other people come together with friends and family to laugh and forge unforgettable memories through the power of games.

Aaron is a self-described socially awkward guy who fell in love with tabletop games for the structure and comfort they bring. He is dedicated to making everyone feel welcome. A creative world-builder, mini-painter, costume maker, and pop-culture buff, he also enjoys live-streamed RPGs and his work as a massage therapist.

Jen is a lifelong gamer who loves using role-playing adventures to connect with friends, family, and her teenage son. With 25+ years of experience supporting kids and adults, she’s an active coach and event leader who enjoys the outdoors, travel, her (somewhat neglected) veggie garden, social justice, grouchy cats, and chocolate.

Kim grew up loving family game nights but later felt excluded from gaming spaces due to her gender. Bolstered by a decade of educational and community work, she now plays board games and D&D while championing inclusive play for everyone. She also has a passion for art, animals, nature, magic, and all things sparkly.
Our Values

WELLBEING
We strive for the most positive and fulfilling work environment that creates opportunities for joy, work-life balance, personal and professional growth, recognition and appreciation, and a supportive culture. We likewise prioritize an atmosphere that cultivates wellbeing for our guests through our products and activities that enhance their lives.

INCLUSION
We embrace diversity to create an environment where people feel valued, respected, and welcomed. Our staff and guests prioritize the enjoyment and growth of our community members, and we create a positive and supportive atmosphere where players actively help each other improve and have a great gaming experience. We strive to support traditionally underrepresented groups in the tabletop industry through our products and suppliers.

EXTRAORDINARY RESPECT
We respect each other, our customers, our families, our space, and our community. We do this by acting and living by strong ethics, through transparency and accountability, and by always making generous assumptions about each other. This, in turn, builds our culture of trust and safety for employees and customers alike.

AGILITY
We embrace continuous improvement and rapid iteration to discover the most effective ways to delight our customers and keep them coming back. Our mindset is that through understanding, collaboration, learning and staying flexible we will flourish.

FINANCIAL SUSTAINABILITY
We are dedicated to being a hub for the tabletop games community in Squamish. Central to this is financial sustainability. We use best business practices and make thoughtful decisions that align the satisfaction of our customers with the health and prosperity of our business, ensuring we can serve the community for years to come.

CREATIVITY
We celebrate and nurture creativity. We encourage and provide a safe space for people to think outside the box, explore new ideas, and challenge the status quo.
Work With Us
We do our best every day to make our staff and customers happy.
We're looking for friendly folk who make people feel welcomed and included, have a passion for learning and growing, and are excited to help us move toward our vision.
What is that vision? To create BC’s most sought-after game store experience through our expertly-curated retail selections and our unique events. Come be a part of that!
Don’t have much game experience? Don’t worry, that is actually one of the least important factors we look for (we can teach you that). What matters most is your passion for connecting with others, enthusiasm, work ethic, and proactive approach.
If you have a love for learning, enjoy sharing creative ideas, and are an overall amazing human being, then you're exactly the kind of person we're looking for!
Please note: We are not hiring at this time, but sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know when another position becomes available.
We also encourage you to come by the store and introduce yourself! We'd love to get to know you.
