Learn to Play Magic the Gathering: Standard Play for Beginners - Dec 6 @ 7:30pm

So you’ve had a taste of the game and you’re ready for the next step! Beginning immediately after our Learn to Play Magic: Free Play Demo (which we encourage you attend as part 1 of this Learn to Play evening), this casual beginner event will introduce players to Standard Format gameplay. 

Players will receive a two-colour 40 card deck (included in the ticket price), and hone their skills alongside other beginners. We’ll venture deeper into the world of Magic: The Gathering to learn about common deck strategies, different gameplay formats, and the mysteries of The Stack. 

By the end of the evening, players should feel empowered to take their next steps– whether that's playing at home with friends, joining another one of our casual play events, or diving deep into the lore behind the cards.
