Join us for a cozy, casual jigsaw puzzle contest and social.
This is a relaxed, friendly afternoon of puzzling, chatting, and connecting — whether you’re a speedy puzzler or like to take your time.
We’re featuring beautiful puzzles from Villager Puzzles, a Canadian, woman-owned company that showcases artwork by Canadian women. A big thank-you to Villager Puzzles for supporting this event!
Puzzle: Matriarch Blanket by Jadyn Williams (500 pcs)
Bio: Jadyn Williams (Fischer-McNab) is a Cree artist, educator, and illustrator from Mohkinstsis (Calgary), Alberta. A junior high teacher since 2018, she illustrated Brave Like the Buffalo and runs artbyJFM, a stationery business. Jadyn belongs to George Gordyn First Nation (Treaty Four) and is an intergenerational Residential School survivor. Jadyn integrates indigenous knowledge into her work, fostering education and resilience through art and storytelling.
We’ll have tea and coffee ready to enjoy, and you’re welcome to grab a snack from the store to keep you fueled while you puzzle.
What to expect:

This event is all about community — the contest is just the excuse to bring puzzle lovers together! While there will be prizes, most will be awarded by draw, so there’s no pressure to be the fastest team. Come to laugh, chat, and share an activity we all love.

You can sign up solo or with a friend.

If you’d like to be paired with a friend, just let us know when you register. We’ll do our best to keep teams balanced while respecting those who sign up together.
How does the contest itself work?

Each team receives an identical 500-piece puzzle (hidden until the timer starts!)

You’ll have up to two hours to complete it.

The first team to finish wins — or if no team finishes, we’ll count remaining pieces to find the winner.

In the case of a tie, teams will get five extra minutes to puzzle it out..
Whether you’re a lifelong puzzler or just curious to try, this is a wonderful chance to spend an afternoon with like-minded people.

Tickets are refundable up to 48 hours before the event.
