This Spring Break, we’re teaming up with Happimess for a week of creativity and adventure featuring Magical Kitties, a cooperative and beginner-friendly role-playing game where kids become heroic cats solving problems and saving the day!
Campers will spend a half day at each location, travelling between Happimess and Arrow Wood Games on the HappiBus.
At Arrow Wood Games, campers will learn how to play Magical Kitties and embark on imaginative campaigns filled with clever puzzles, collaborative problem-solving, and creative decision-making.
At Happimess, campers will dive into creative art projects - painting, sensory materials, and hands-on projects inspired by character design, the beauty surrounding us, and storytelling.

What is Magical Kitties Save the Day?
Magical Kitties Save the Day is a beginner friendly family role-playing game where players take on the role of magical kitties with secret powers who protect their humans and hometowns from quirky threats like magical portals letting dinosaurs into your town. Players create cute, cunning, or fierce kitties with unique abilities, solving problems for their humans, with a focus on collaborative storytelling and easy setup.
What is a role playing game? In a role-playing game, players sit around a table and take on the role of a character in a fictional setting. We then collaboratively tell the story, usually guided by a set of rules and a Game Master. You don’t have to be an actor - if you like stories, you can play a role-playing game!
No experience needed. Staff will help with character creation, and dice are provided.

🖍️ You will also need to sign our waiver to secure your child's spot.
🖌️ Campers aged 5 - 8 will start and end their day at Arrow Wood Games
🖍️ Campers aged 8 - 12 will start and end their day at Happimess.
🖌️ Campers should wear messy art clothes, and have appropriate clothing for outdoor adventures
🖍️ Please bring snacks, lunch, and a water bottle
Late Policy
Feel free to drop off your kids up to 5 minutes before the start time and pick them up 5 minutes after the finish time if you need to. Outside of this grace window, we have a firm late fee policy aimed at ensuring our staff can prepare for other events or get home to their own families after work.
